Ya más de dos semanas de haber regresado y todavía siento que estoy alla! Nos la pasamos increíble! Tus tours son sensacionales, explicas padrísimo y muy ameno! Te felicito porque conocimos Roma de una manera que normalmente no conoceríamos. No es lo mismo ir con el libro o con la audio guía. Ya de vuelta queríamos agradecerte las horas maravillosas que pasamos contigo en Roma.
Las excursiones fueron excelentes, aprendimos muchísimo. Sobre todo fueron didácticas y entretenidas.

Primero que nada pedirte disculpas por no haberte escrito antes. Pero bueno sólo decirte que tengo muy buenos recuerdo  de mi corta estadía en Roma y que gracias a tu profesionalismo pude conocer mucho para el poco tiempo que estuve, agradecerte tu compañía, es rico encontrar una compatriota tan lejos de Chile. Nadie lo habría hecho mejor que tu, realmente fui una afortunada de haberte encontrado.
En mi oficina quedaron encantados y yo personalmente por tu "Guía de la Patagonia" ¡Felicitaciones! excelente trabajo.

Ximena is an A+ guide for Rome, and seeing Rome with Ximena is invaluable!  We spent two days with Ximena touring Ancient Rome and Vatican City. Her wealth of knowledge went beyond the standard history, architecture and religion you'd expect.  As a group of ten people, covering three generations and with varying interests and levels of stamina, we could be challenging; but Ximena got a handle on us very quickly. She was able to sense what each member of our group was interested in and tailor what she imparted to match our interests. Teens, tweens, parents and grandparents were all very engaged!
The fact that she purchased tickets so that we didn't have to wait in long lines (and knew the best ways in and out of places) left us with more time and energy to take in the city and even relax with leisurely meals, stops for gelato and walks as well.
Ximena's fluency in English made communicating easy. She was always on time (even if we were not) and organized.  Ximena also arranged for our transport from the airport to our hotel, and for transport from Rome to Florence, with a side trip to Siena (all transport was easy, and in nice air-conditioned vans, with seat belts for all of us.)
After Rome, we headed to Florence and Venice.  We did not work with a guide in Florence or Venice, both of which are more manageable on your own, but we found ourselves wondering what Ximena would be pointing out if she'd been with us in those other cities. In sum, to say we have no regrets about spending the money to see Rome with Ximena would be an understatement - Rome would not have been the same without her!

Dear Ximena,
We arrived home on June 20 from Rome.
Good 10 day cruise, enjoyed Lucca/Pisa, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Malta and Naples. Tunisia and Palermo were just OK. But none compared with our 3 days in Rome. Having you show us around was the highlight of our two week trip. You really knew how to balance the different interests that Jean and I have along with slowing things down for her ailing back. . How about that Italian World Cup victory? They are still celebrating at an Italian restaurant near our office. Ximena, if you get to Virginia, I hope you will let us know. We could be your guide. My husband and I returned in May from a spectacular Tauck tour of Rome and the Amalfi Coast.
However, I would like to call a particular Rome tour guide to your attention. Because my husband and I stayed on in Rome for a few more days, our local travel agency (Holiday Travel) arranged a local guide for us. She was above and beyond in all aspects - well educated, (an architect) informative, interesting, professional, personal, humorous and very beautiful!
